FAQ's

What services do you offer?

I provide end‑to‑end real estate media. Everything from high‑impact photography and cinematic video to immersive 3D tours and precision floor plans.
Do you handle twilight or virtual‑staging shoots?
Yes, upon request. Be sure to select virtual staging when booking your order. Rates start at $25 per image and scale with the level of styling required.
Are community amenities included in the listing package?
Community amenities aren’t part of the standard package, but you can add them for a flat $30—just select the “Community Amenities” option when booking. If the pool, gym, or clubhouse requires a code or key card, please have it ready at the scheduled shoot time so we can stay on track.
How many revisions are allowed?
Each project comes with one complimentary revision. Further changes are welcome and will be billed at our standard revision rate.

When will I receive the media?

Photos: by the next business day.
Property‑tour videos: within 48 hours.
If your shoot takes place on a Friday, assets will arrive the following business day (usually Monday).
Floor plans: delivered within 48 hours of the shoot.
Zillow 3D Home Tour: published automatically as soon as your MLS listing goes live (you’ll see it on Zillow the same day the listing becomes active).

How should the home be prepped before the shoot?
Please have the property photo‑ready—lights on, clutter cleared, and décor in place—when we arrive. We include a 10‑minute grace period for quick touch‑ups.
If the home still needs more than five additional minutes beyond that, we’ll reschedule and apply a $50 travel fee (credited toward the new shoot). This keeps the day running smoothly for all clients on the schedule.
When is payment due, and what methods do you accept?
Payment is due when your digital assets are delivered. You can pay instantly through our secure portal using any major credit or debit card or an ACH bank transfer. Once images are downloaded, all sales are final due to the digital nature of the product.
What does a “limited‑use license for the sale of a home” mean?
When you hire us, you receive permission to use the photos, video, and other media solely for marketing that specific property while it’s listed for sale (or rent)—think MLS, flyers, social posts, and ads tied to that listing. Ownership stays with Novel Homes Collective, so the assets can’t be:
- Re‑used for future listings of the same property after it sells or the listing agreement expires.
- Given or sold to third parties (builders, stagers, interior designers, magazines, etc.) without our written consent.
- Altered beyond minor cropping/resizing unless we approve the edits.
Your license is just for you and for marketing the booked listing.
If you’d ever like to let a builder, stager, magazine, or anyone else use the images, no problem—simply reach out and we’ll set up the right license.
Unapproved sharing automatically turns into a retroactive license at $200 per photo and $1,000 per video (longer videos $2,500; national broadcast $5,000)—figures based on standard market rates, not penalties.
Both the original client and whoever received the files share responsibility for those fees.
We rarely run into issues, but this clause keeps things clear and fair. (And, as always, Novel Homes Collective still retains full copyright protection under U.S. law.)
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Listings inside Wake County are covered at no extra cost. For properties beyond county lines, a travel fee applies. We’ll quote it upfront, before your shoot is confirmed, so there are no surprises.
